The Law Offices of Albert W. Cornachio, PC is a general practice firm concentrating in probate/estate law and personal injury litigation. We have over 40 years of experience in New York City and the surrounding counties.
Our family law firm was started in 1974 by ALBERT W. CORNACHIO who developed an extensive litigation practice representing clientele in hundreds of matters in the New York State Supreme Court and the Surrogate’s Courts of all Counties in the City of New York, as well as the surrounding Counties outside New York City including Westchester, Rockland, Nassau and Suffolk. ALBERT W. CORNACHIO III joined his father almost 20 years ago and the firm extended its case load to include a significant number of negligence cases. In his career as a trial lawyer, he has litigated numerous jury and non-jury trials to verdict.
Due to the continued growth of the practice CHRISTOPHER BLOCK joined the firm, first as a law intern, then as an attorney when he was admitted to practice law in 2010. CHRIS has also litigated numerous cases, prepared several estate accountings, and successfully argued motions in both NYS trial and appellate courts.
The principals of the firm take great pride in the fact that they have over 40 years of experience in rendering personalized legal services to a wide array of clientele. In addition, the firm has working relationships with outside counsel who are frequently called upon to render advice to clients in all other areas related to the general practice of law.

AL SR is the former Counsel to Public Administrator of Bronx County and former Legal Counsel to the Bronx County Board of Realtors, was admitted to practice as an attorney and counselor at law before the courts in the State of New York in 1965. He is also licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Claims and United States Federal District Court, Southern District of New York.

Albert W. Cornachio III
AL was admitted to practice as an attorney and counselor at law before the courts of the State of New York in 1993. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and United States Federal District Courts, Southern District of New York and Eastern District of New York. He served as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County from 1992 to1996, after which he was recruited to serve as defense trial counsel and later as supervising trial attorney for the Allstate Insurance Co. He is past President of the Columbian Lawyer’s Association of Westchester County; a former Director of the Bronx County Bar Association; a member of the New York State Bar Association; and presently Village Attorney for Pelham Manor located in Westchester County, NY.
